Leisure on the River
Kayak, Canoe, Fish and Swim
All the Fun and Adventure is Here at Last Wild River Resort!
When you get here, you won’t want to leave this little piece of heaven on Earth! The only sounds you will hear during your visit are those of nature. If you are adventurous, you can hike, which starts right on the lodge lawn, and explore across 164 acres through our hiking trails. If you are a fisherman, you will love catching Bass and Perch at The Fishin’ Hole. You can also take a canoe or kayak out to fish, enjoy floating around, or just relax. There are shallow parts to the river where you can bring your lawn chair to sit and watch the river flow over the rocks. At Nature's Yard, you can play volleyball, horseshoes, or hang out in the outdoor pavilion. The Last Wild River is a great place to spend time with family and friends to experience nature at its best! Words cannot do this little piece of heaven justice, but know it is good for the soul.

Turkey Trot Trail starts south of the On River Time Lodge near the Glover River bank and goes north across the lower terrain and the Burks Hollow Creek to the Creekside Chapel - very close to Wild River Saloon & Venue.
Starting at the end of the Turkey Trot Trail is Diamond Back Trail, a longer and more difficult trek that leads to the the top of Pines Peak.
Starting between the Bunk House and Venue, Whitetail Trail will lead you on a path near the creek and then up to the top of Eagle's Ridge. This trail will take to one of the highest elevations on resort.
Fire Pits ready for S'mores!
Perhaps the best part of camping, glamping or being on resort is story time and s'mores around the fire pit! Pull up a chair!
A Little Chapel
in the Woods
This historical Chapel was built by the Boy Scouts when the property served as a Boy Scout Camp. What could be more serene than a chapel in nature.
The Stage is set. What a spot to enjoy the beauty of Nature surrounding. Or perhaps enjoy a skit with the most amazing backdrop.
